Lug Type Air Shafts are used in slitting, printing, rewinding, coating, laminating, and other applications requiring high-true-round or surface-winding machines.
Lug Type Air Shafts are designed for core winding and single spindle unwinding to meet the high tension or torque requirements of the customer and to withstand high material weights. The key expands through the expansion of a single air bladder and the shaft core is clamped. The central tube of the pneumatic shaft is made of steel and the key is made of steel. The keys can also be made of other materials upon special request.
