A leaf type air shaft (also called blade type air shaft) is a specialized expandable shaft that uses multiple flexible metal or polyurethane leaves (blades) to grip the inner surface of rolls. Unlike bladder-based designs, it provides mechanical expansion through angled leaf movement, making it ideal for heavy-duty, high-torque applications where traditional air shafts may fail.
This product is an axial-mounted friction-type pneumatic brake. It is mostly used at the unwinding end of sheet materials. It is applied in printing and packaging machinery, rubber tire machinery, and automation machinery, etc.
